Lost River Map - An In Depth Review of the Game and Map Installation

One of the coolest features on a Top Cow game mod is the ability to add your own Map to the game. Map is an extremely important feature, because it lets the players know where exactly is the best place to go and what obstacles they might encounter along the way. Map has simple interface, just like the rest of the game modes and can be activated with / to show basic information about the current location of the players. To add a new Map, just click on Map icon from the game menu and choose the desired map type you want to add. New player can choose from different maps for below Zero Degree (ZD), Above Ground (EG) and Extreme Ground (EF) conditions.

To use the Map in above zero degrees(ZD) condition, just hold shift and click on draw map. To use the Map in below ground conditions, just hold shift and click on draw map. The map is also available in biome version which hides the terrain around your player. The hidden biomes are green, yellow or red in appearance and are marked on the map with the icon for each biome. This version of Map is made for those who are playing first person shooter games and trying to get a feel of how terrain features are set up and hidden behind fog.

Map has been made by newman55, who is one of the leading artists of indie games. I have also seen him featured in a lot of games made by independent developers, most of them were made for consoles or PCs and they are very nice looking. Map is just one of the cool stuff that can be found in this mod. If you are looking for something more creative and more immersive, try downloading Lost River Mod.
